It was Pat's birthday. Her mom was making the cake. "Your cake is OK!"Mom said. Pat got up and ran to the kitchen. Just then, Mom came out with the cake.
Pat and Mom ran into each other. The cake fell on the floor. It was a mess(脏乱). "Oh, no! My cake!" cried Pat. "Well, "said Mom. "We can have cookies(点心). ""But I want a birthday cake, "Pat said, and then she helped clean up the floor.
Later, Pat's friends arrived. She told them what happened(发生). The girls thought they can make a new one together. So the girls sat around the kitchen table. Mom put a box of flour(面粉), milk and eggs on the table. Then they began to work happily.
After a while, Mom took out the cake. The cake tasted great. Pat knew that if we take actions(行动), we can solve(解决) the problems at last. Then she said to her friends, "Thank you, my friends!"
