Chongyang Festival is a

traditional Chinese festival. It's on the ninth day of the ninth lunar （农历的） month.

People eat Chongyang  on this day. It is made of rice flour, fruits and sugar. This cake is sweet and nice.

In the past, how did people  this festival? They climbed hills with their family to wish for good health.

People also enjoyed  chrysanthemum flowers （菊花） and made wine with them. They liked to wear zhuyu to drive away bad luck.

Now, this festival is also a special day for  people in China. Young people do something interesting or do chores for old people.

Some children visit their grandparents. Some children would like to make a  call to their grandparents far away.
