Dear Jenny,
How is it going? I am very happy I have gotten a letter from you. I know you have been learning French for about two and a half years. And you have difficulty in (improve) it. Here I'd like to give you some (advise). I hope they will be (help) for you.
(one) of all, interest is the best teacher, so the most important thing is to be interested in what you learn. For example, you should try to find a program which interests you a lot. And while listening to the radio or watching TV, pay more attention (注意) to the hosts (careful) in order to make your listening improved. The second thing is to be confident and brave. Don't be afraid of making mistake when learning a new language. Everyone (make) mistakes. It is really common among you. You'd better communicate your classmates in French every day. The more you speak, the better (you) French will be. Although leaning is a lifelong journey, I believe as long as you try your to learn it, you will make great progress.
Best wishes to you.
Yours,
Mark
