One Sunday morning, Peter and Michael 1 on their walk up the mountainside near the village where they lived. Near the top, they climbed onto a rock to 2 the view of the valley far below them.
That was when disaster 3 . Peter fell and broke his leg. 4 to move, he was forced to wait where he was, wrapped in Michael's jacket, while Michael began the long walk down the mountainside to fetch 5 .

Eventually Michael and all the mountain rescue workers in the helicopter had to go back and continue the search for Peter 9 .
By seven o' clock that evening, they 10 a mountain rescue team of fifteen men. As it was getting late, Michael felt 11 and scared for his friend's safety. Slowly they climbed up the mountain, 12 the numerous paths for Peter. 13 Michael started to wonder whether they would ever find Peter at all.
Suddenly Michael heard a voice come, "We've got him. We're taking him down." Later in the warm hospital room, "I'm 14 ," said Michael to his friend, 15 him on the shoulder, "I didn't realize it would take so long."
