Recently there is a piece of good news: Beihai has become one of the fastest growing cities in the world. It lies on the (东南) coast of Guangxi Province. As a city with a population of about1. 85 million (已经), it is still growing because more people are interested in starting a new life here.
Many years ago, Beihai was just a small fishing village. (然而 ), because of its wonderful nature views, Beihai became busy and (拥挤的) with many tourists. The beaches and islands were quite amazing, (尤其) the Silver Beach. So many people thought these places would be a good (选择) for business. Tourists could also play (排球) there. Then the (政府) made a plan to build a new city. Though they faced many difficulties, they
tried really hard to(提升) the situation. Now the whole city is lively and active, with many big companies and several ( 大学). And the government is developing more plans to make Beihai better in the future.
