Sports areimportant to everyone, but they are especially important to young people. Theyteach young people about winning and losing. Also, they teach young people howto communicate and work as a team. For example, when you play football, youmust learn how to communicate and work together with your teammates. Sportsteach young people to respect their coaches, teammates, and people they fightagainst as well.
Manyreports say that sports help young people stay out of trouble. If a youngperson plays sports, he or she is less likely to have problems. This is becausesports teach people about rules.Theyalso teach people that if theywork hard, they might succeed.
Anothergood reason of doing sports is that they make people leave their houses. Thesedays, a lot of people spend too much time watching television and playing videogames. When you play sports, you go outside and exercise in the sun. You takein fresh air. All of these things are important.
