I'm Susi. My parents send me to football classes with the help of the Magic (魔力的) Bus. The Magic Bus is a group in India that helps children live better lives. I know that with hard work I can grow and live better. But most friends at my age in my town stay at home learning to cook and take care of the house.
“I should change (改变) them and get them out of their homes!” I thought. So I started a plan to help the girls in my town play football, like me. I tried to ask parents to let their girls out to play. It was difficult. No one really listened to me. So I asked my mom for help. My mom shared the story about me and the Magic Bus, “Susi will be part of a football camp in the USA!” This helped because parents listened to other parents.
When I had my first lesson, only 10 girls came. But by the next weekend, 20 turned up (出现), and then there was no looking back. Girls loved playing football. They told me, “I never knew I had it in me to play like a boy!” Slowly, I see their changes (变化) of mind—now they think that staying at home isn't the only choice (选择) for a girl. They're not afraid to go out of their homes.
