Dear Lily,

I have some bad news. My old cat Betty died last night. She was ill last Sunday and didn't eat any food. I took her to see the vet. The vet tried to help her but she was too old. She left the world in the end. I will miss her very much. 

Now I am twelve years old. Betty was the same age as me. She was beautiful. She was all white but black on the top of her head. My parents bought her when I was born.
