J.K. Rowling was born in Bristol July 31st, 1965. She has one (年轻的) sister. Both of the girls loved listening to their father reading bedtime stories to them. They loved stories about the magical world. Rowling wrote her first story (叫做)Rabbit, at the age of six.
After she left the university, Rowling worked in London. On a long train trip in the (夏天) of 1990, she had the idea of writing a book about a boy who has magic. In 1992 Rowling spent much time (完成) the first book of Harry Potter for young readers. To her surprise, the book was greatly (成功的). The film came out in (十一月) of 2001. Now Harry Potter is (受欢迎的) with people of all ages and about 60 million books were sold in 200 countries.
J.K. Rowling is writing all the time and she's really (享受) her life. She says she will go on writing books for children.
