Maria Keller is from Minneapolis, Minnesota. she was 8 years old, she already loved reading. She noticed that some of her classmates didn't read as (most) as she did. When she asked her mother that could be, her mother said that they might not have enough money for books. Maria had never thought of this and decided (change) this.
With her (mother) help, Maria created Read Indeed. Read Indeed collects and gives out books to kids in need for free.
Maria set the goal to collect and give out one million books the time she was 18. She tried every means to achieve it. As a result, it didn't take long to reach that goal!
Today, she (collect) over one million books and has sent them to many states and countries around the world. She says, "I can't live without books. As I continue my work, I have learned that (million) of kids are in need of books. So I just can't give up, even after (reach) my original goal."
She has (recent) set a new goal: To give books to kids in need in every state in the United States, and every country in the world.
