Once upon a time, a rich man wanted to make a trip to another town. He tried not only to take things to sell but to take money to buy things. He decided to take ten servants(仆人) with him. They would carry the things to sell and the food to on their trip. Before they started, a little boy ran up to the rich man and asked to go with .
The rich man said to the little boy, "Well, you may go with us. But you are smallest, thinnest and weakest of all my servants, you can't carry a load (担子). You must the lightest one to carry. " The boy thanked his master, , he chose the biggest load to carry at last. That was bread.
"You are foolish." said his master, "That is the biggest and the heaviest one." The boy said nothing and carried the load happily.
On the trip they walked for days and at last they got to the town. All the servants were except the little boy. Do you know why? Most of the was eaten during the trip and a little was left when they at the town. What a clever boy!
