    A thief (小偷) went into an old man's room. He stayed in a cabinet (橱柜) in the room. The old man saw the thief, but he didn't say anything. He asked all his children to his room. He said to them, "Somebody does something bad, but he is not really bad. Can you pardon (原谅) him?" The children all said, "Yes."

    Then the old man opened the cabinet. He said to the chief, "Here is some food for you. Take it and don't do those things again."

    The thief cried and thanked the old man. From then on, he never did bad things.
