It was Monday in October. There were many people on the bus and passengers were standing in the aisle (过道). A young woman (carry) a baby was very grateful when an old man her his seat. The baby was (fast) asleep and she could now rest him on her lap. She (thank) the old man and was just going to sit down when a rude man took the empty . Everyone was embarrassed and the young mother was surprised that she couldn't say anything. All the passengers were very angry with the man, but he no attention to them. Later, the rude man wanted to get off the bus and tried to push past the passengers. They all stood (close) together and wouldn't let him move. The rude man shouted, “I'll be for work!” But the other passengers stood closer as if they didn't hear it. The man had no choice and was made (stay) on the bus till the bus reached its terminus.
