My people, My country,a 158-mintue film celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, is set to hit Chinese theaters on September 30.
Helmedby well-known director Chen Kaige and supported by six other famous directors, the seven-part anthology (选集) focuses on national memories and presents Chinese ordinary people's stories that took place during seven monumental moments in the past seventy years. It chronicles (记录) the nation's greatest technological and cultural achievements.
