    Jack is my good friend. He comes from America but now he lives in Tianjin. He is a hard­working(勤奋的) student. He gets up at 6：00 a. m. every day. He wants to speak Chinese as well as Chinese people. So he works very hard.

     “Chinese is interesting. But it is hard to learn，”he says.

    Mr Liu is his Chinese teacher. He is helpful.

    He teaches Jack Chinese for about an hour every day after school. They both get home late. However(但是), Jack never feels tired. He still studies hard in the evening. He usually goes to bed at 11：30 p. m.
