Years ago in Scotland, the Clark family had a dream. They made plans for their nine children and themselves to travel to the United States. Clark and his wife worked hard and finally, they became wealthy to afford the trip.
whole family was looking forward to the trip. For the first time in their life, they could have the chance to breathe the fresh air in that dream country. All of them werewith excitement about life in America. They were busy preparing for their trip happily., seven days before their trip, the youngest son was bitten by a dog. The doctor treated the boy and told them they had to be quarantined (隔离) fourteen days.
They would not be able to make the trip to America as they planned. The father was disappointed and cursed (诅咒) both his and God for their bad luck.
Five days , the sad news spread throughout, " Scotland—the mighty Titanic (泰坦 尼 克) sank." The unsinkable ship sank! The ship took away hundreds of with it.
They would be on that ship if the son were not bitten by a dog!
When Mr. Clarkhe news, he hugged his son and thanked him for saving the family. He thanked God for saving lives.
Although we may not always understand, all things happen for a reason.
