Dear Dr. Arthur,

    I have a question for you. I make some money by doing chores at home. I sweep the floor, clean the room and walk the dog every day and I also take out the rubbish on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays. I think I do too much because I also take part in some activities after school and I have to do my homework every night.

    I can get only $20 a week. And the amount I get is barely enough(勉强够) to go to the movies and buy popcorn (爆米花).

    I want more money. I know my parents are going to say "No"，but it's not fair. I am 14, so I can't get a job yet. But I really need more money to spend time with my friends. I don't know how to make them understand me. Could you please help me?
