I was born and brought up in Scotland. Three years ago, my husband and I moved to Tennessee, U. S. A, for work. The landscape (风景) in Tennessee is wonderful. The people are friendly. However, the language took me a few months to get used to.
One day, I was in a discussion with Mike. Mike was an experienced model designer in our factory. He was not a member of my team, but his team and mine worked with each other . We were discussing how to a model for a new machine. I listed some work that Mike needed to do.
"Mike, can you get this done in two days? It's not much work."
"I don't care to do that, Laural!"
