Yu Tong, a Chinese tourist, went on a trip to Antarctica(南极洲). That was a(n)1she gave herself to celebrate her 30th birthday. She first took a plane to Ushuaia—the southernmost city in the world. And then she went to Antarctica by ship. She2over 80, 000 yuan on the 18-day trip.

To protect the7, they cleaned their shoes before each journey. They stayed at least 5 meters away from wildlife. When a strong wind blew away a tourist's mask, an explorer ran8to get it back, because such a9object might kill an animal.
Yu Tong realized the importance of environmental protection. She now tries to do10every day to protect the environment.
