An old man lived in a village. He was one of the (最粗鲁的)people in the world. When people tried to cheer him up, he would (生气地) turn them away. The whole village was tired of him.
The longer he lived, the more bad-tempered he became. But one day, an unusual thing happened. The villagers said (在…之间) themselves, "The old man is different today. He is (微笑) and he looks kind."
One of the villagers asked the old man, "What happened to you?"
"Nothing special has happened, in fact, "the man said. "I've been looking for happiness for years, but I (失败). And then I made a (决定) to live without looking for happiness and just enjoy the life at the moment. That's why I'm happy now."
It is important to realise that your mood can have a great (影响) on people around you. Everyone has bad (经历).If someone tries to help you, be (礼貌的) to them. At the same time, never find happiness only from the (外面), but look within --enjoy everything you have got.
