About thirty years ago, my hometown was still a very small town. Many people lived a poor life. Their houses were small and old, some were even ( 破 的 ). So rainy and windy days were really terrible for them. Bicycles were the most (典型的) transportation. People used (火柴) to light a fire. Most children had no toys to play, so even some simple stone games could (使兴奋) them too. And because of the bad living condition, nobody (浪费) food or money or other things. But things have (变化) a lot. With the help of the government, the environment has become more beautiful. Roads are (宽的) and rivers are clearer. Houses are large and bright. Most families have their own cars. And because of the beautiful sceneries, ( 千 ) of tourists from all over the country come to our city every year.
