William Shakespeare was born in 1564 in a town called Stratford—upon—Avon. At the age of six or seven. Shakespeare began school, studying Latin, Greek, literature and other s. Around 1613，at the age of 49, he r to his hometown Stratford, where he died three years later. It was on 23 April 1616.
William Shakespeare is widely considered the gwriter in the English language. He wrote about 38 plays, 154 sonnets (十四行诗)，two long narrative poems, and some other works. His plays have been translated into every major living language and are performed more often than those of any other playwrights.
