Amanda is a very kind and(聪明的) girl. Sheto (过去常常) help people in trouble. And she(筹集) much money for them, too. Now Amanda is studying in college. At the same time, she works as a(志愿者) at Heart House. Heart House is an after-school program for children. It tries to(改变) their study habits and help them find the(兴趣) of study.
Amanda goes to Heart House to(训练) the children twice a week. She has also(建立) up a website for Heart House. Because of Amanda's website, every week 125 volunteers spend about four hours helping the children at Heart House now. "Without Amanda's website, Heart House would have(困难) finding enough volunteers," the program leader says.
"I always have a strong(感觉) of happiness when I teach those kids how to study," Amanda always says.
