The very hungry Caterpilla

The book starts with a little caterpillar (毛虫) who comes out of its egg and starts looking for food. In the beginning, the caterpillar eats healthy food. Later it enjoys eating junk food. Its stomach hurts because it has eaten too much junk food. Then it decides to eat something good again. In the end, it becomes a butterfly. This book is great for learning some necessary English words, like numbers and foods.

If You Give a Moose a Muffin

    It is about a moose (麋鹿) who always wants something more. First, he wants a muffin. Then he wants some jam to go with it. When he has finished eating, he wants some more until it's all gone. Then he asks you to make more and more…The writer uses a lot of future tenses (一般将来时). So it is helpful for learning the future tense.
