Mr. King lived in a village with his family. He had two sons and a daughter. He also had a farm, but the farm was small and it didn't look good. He had a cow and the cow produced (生产) milk every day. Mr. King used some of the milk to change (换) other food and vegetables every day. Mrs. King made cakes for the family with the other milk. The cow was important for them.
One day, the cow was eating outside when it started to rain. It rained hard. The cow started to run back home. On the way it fell into (掉进) a lake and died soon. It was really bad for the family.
Mr. King started to grow rice and vegetables on the farm. Thinking about his children's clothes, he started growing cotton (棉花) ,too. Over half a year later, Mr. King was happy to find that he had a lot of rice, vegetable and cotton to sell on the market. It was not a problem for the family to live a good life any more.
Sometimes, when there are some bad things, don't worry. Try to think about the problem from a new way, and then you may work it out soon.
