How tired I am! After a long day at school, I walked home with my heavy schoolbag. Sleepy and1, I threw my things on the sofa and got something from the kitchen to eat. I passed by the living room and wished I could watch TV, but I knew my2would take me the whole night. I took my schoolbag and went3to my room. Dealing with the heavy work was really hard for me. I managed to understand chemistry and4feeling sleepy at the same time. I tried to keep my eyes open.
Later, I5the sound of the front door opening. And I waited for it — the sound of my mom singing.6she didn't sing well, it made me excited. I quickly put down my book and rushed down to greet my mom. We hugged each other and talked for a while. I liked the sense,7when my mom was happy. Her8seemed to pass on to me and I was able to face the stress again.
Sometimes, I wonder how my mom can still be positive(积极乐观的) after coming back from work. Every weekday, she wakes up early in the morning to go to work and spends hours on the bus before getting downtown. At a clothing factory, she works standing for the whole day and draws pictures for clothes over and over again. After work, my mom at times gets stuck in traffic for two hours on her way back home. When I9my school life with her work life, I should not be the one to complain. At least I have something interesting to do at school. I am pleased that my mom has a positive attitude and lives her life10a cheerful heart. Seeing her happiness makes me feel good, too.
