Here in China, Tree-planting Day comes on March 12 every year. This special day began in 1979. After we plant trees, we must take care of the trees by watering them until they grow up to be strong. In different countries, Tree-planting Days are on different days.
Why do people plant trees? It is very easy to answer. Trees can make the air fresh and clean, maintain ecological balance(生态平衡), conserve(保持) soil and water, reduce dust pollution, and so on. But some bad people cut down trees for money. We should plant more trees to protect our environment.
