In Sweden, there is a wonderful library called Bokbaten. lt is a floating(漂流的)library. Bokbaten visits the remote(遥远的)islands every spring and autumn. The boat is filled with more than 3000 books. The boat stops at 23 islands and allows the islanders to borrow the books. You can return the books you borrowed during the last visit and borrow anything you like again. There are tall wooden(木制的)shelves full of all kinds of books, including picture books for children, texts about history and science, cookery books, and audio-books(有声读物).
The floating library has run since 1953. The country wants all its people, especially children, to read. They believe that reading is important for the quality (质量) of life and success. They want you to read books, as everyone has the chance to get education and knowledge.
The book boat is popular with both children and adults.
