I have a new baby this year, so I buy a "new" car which is much bigger for my family. It is actually a used car. I spend around $6,000 on it. My old car is still in good condition. A dealership would take it for $1,500.
I have a co-worker. He works so hard for his big family but life is still not easy for him. He is looking for used cars for a long time. So I ask him how much he wants to pay for a car. He says he wants to spend $300 to $500. So I tell him I will sell him my old one for $300.
My mom, who I work with, asks if I have any luck selling my car. I tells her I plan to sell it to my co-worker for $300.
She starts crying. She tells me how happy and proud is she that her kid can help someone out so much. She asks me if I can give it to him for free and then she will pay me $1,500. I am surprised at what she says and of course I don't take her money either. I want to help more people like my kind mom does.
