There are three people in my family. They are my father, my mother and I. I like fishing with my parents on weekends. But my friends don't understand(理解）it. They always ask me, "How can you sit with your parents for hours like that?" When they ask me, I never say a word.
Today is Saturday. I walk to go fishing with my parents near our home. When we get there, I find a nice place to fish and sit down. My parents sit far away from me. I don't catch a fish after an hour or two. So I go to see my mom and dad. They don't catch anything. My dad says, "Let's fish together. We may be lucky later." I get my things and sit down with dad and mom. We start to talk and I tell them about the most interesting teacher at school. We talk and laugh(笑)for the rest of the day. Soon it is late. We don't catch any fish, but I have a great day. I now understand my parents better.
On the way home, I tell my mom I want to have fish for dinner." That's a good idea. We can buy one from the supermarket. "" she says. We all look at each other and laugh loudly. Now I realize (意识到) why I love fishing with my parents.
