In China, most of the zoos have pandas. Now there are 1, 864 pandas (live) in the zoo. In fact, many people around the world love these black and white animals. cute and lovely they are! They mainly eat bamboos, and they also eat other food milk and meat. Pandas like climbing trees, the higher, the (good). They can enjoy all kinds of amusement facilities (设施) in the zoo. As symbol of China, the panda, of course is the favorite of the Olympics. There were five mascots (祥物) for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. They (name) Fuwa. One of them was the panda. It was a really lovely boy named Jingjing. It stood for forests and was the symbol of joy. Now as the mascot for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games, the panda is called Bing Dwen Dwen. is meaningful to have the name in Chinese—"bing" is the Chinese word for ice and "Dwen Dwen" means lively. Bing Dwen Dwen's mask on its face stands for the snow and ice of winter sports. Both Jingjing and Bing Dwen Dwen are popular with people of all (age).
