I'm in Grade 8 from No. I Middle School. I began to help out chores when I was in primary school. I think its very important for teenagers to do so because these days we need all-round development. We can learn a lot of living skills by doing chores. I live in the dormitory at school now. Those skills help me take good care of myself. When I come back home from school on weekends, I always help my parents if they need my help. I believe that doing chores helps to develop children's independence.

Dear Sir,

I don't think we should depend on our parents too much because we shall live on our own one day. I sometimes help with chores at home. I think we should share the responsibility（责任）with our parents. I hate some chores while I like others. I hate washing clothes because it's boring. Of all the chores，I like cooking best. I can not only cook the food I like，but also make a big meal for my parents. It's a happy moment for me to watch my parents eat the food I cook.
