Dear humans(人类),
It's my first time to write to you, my children.
First, let me tell you more about our family. Dear humans, besides(除了) you, I have many other children. Some of them fly in the sky. Some of them swim in the water. Some of them live in the ice -covered places. Some of them run in the grasslands. Some of them are as small as your fingernails, like bugs(虫). Some of them are as big as cars, like elephants. Some of them might be very close to you, or even live in your houses. But there are others you may never meet.
You take them home to be your pets, friends and helpers. You put them in zoos. You kill them for meat and fur. And sometimes you just kill them for fun. They bring you money and happiness, but they also bring you disease(疾病) and health.
I hope you can remember that wild animals are not your food or clothes. They are, in fact, your brothers and sisters. All of you are equal. I love you all. I hope you and other animals can live happily in my arms.
Yours,
Mother Earth
