Lin Qiaozhi was a famous doctor in women's disease in the twentieth century. She lived from 1901 to 1983. When she was a little girl, she decided to be a doctor. At that time, it was difficult for a woman to get medical training, but she (做成) to do it. She worked hardest (在...之中) her classmates and in 1929, she became a doctor. She was very busy in her chosen career, travelling abroad to study as well as writing books. One of her books explained how to cut the death rate from having and (照顾) for babies. She gave some (简单的) rules to follow for keeping babies clean and healthy.
Lin Qiaozhi (花费) her whole life helping her patients and chose not to have a family of her own. Instead, she made sure that about 50,000 babies were (安全地) born. She was honored as Woman of China. When she found some areas were poor and only had bad equipment, she usually offered her help. Once she went late at (午夜) to deliver a baby for a poor family who could not pay her. (无论什么) happened, it could not stop her saving lives. In 2009, she was reviewed one of the 100 Moved Honorary Women in China. She is a (先驱者) admired by all who know her.
