When I was four, one day I was playing outside our house. I saw my grandfather park his truck (在……后面) my mom's shining red Mercedes. The truck was black and looked very old. I thought, "Grandpa doesn't have to (驾驶) such an ugly truck. Maybe I can make it look better. " I got some paint and a brush which were kept in the (厨房) by my father. I painted the truck (白色的) all over. Then I painted all the things I knew, for example, a (熊) and many colorful stars. When my mum walked up and stopped me, I have (完成) the job. She was worried that my grandfather would be (生气的) . To her great surprise, as my grandfather looked at my paintings on the truck, he(大笑) loudly. "Angela, that's the (美丽的) truck I've ever seen!I love it!"
(有时候) adults don't stop to see things through children's eyes. They missed so much beauty in the world. Luckily, my grandfather saw things in another way.
