Once upon a time there was a little prince. He was so spoilt(宠坏的)that he wouldn't let anybody have a new toy if he didn't have one first.
The prince invited him to spend a year in the palace, asking the toymaker to make him a new toy every day. The toymaker said, "My toys are very special. Will you spend a little time with each one every day?" "Of course, I will," the prince replied.
From then on, every morning the prince received a new toy. The prince appeared
Very happy. And soon there were too many toys for him to play with. The little prince couldn't get to sleep until midnight. He was so tired and sleepy. Even worse, the toys were getting angry because he spent less time playing with them.
One day, the prince saw some children playing outside the palace. When they finished playing, they could take home the toys they liked the most.
At the end of the year, all the toys were shared out and the palace turned into the best playroom.
