Understanding (理解) between each other is always like a warm sunshine in our life. If can make people happier and the life more wonderful. I still remember (记得)my father acted1 an understanding husband when I was a little girl.
My mom liked to cook dinner with the breakfast food. One day, my mom put some burnt (燃焦的) bread in front of my dad for dinner. The burnt bread looked2 and hard to eat. I thought my dad would not have it and be angry with Mom. To my surprise, my dad took the bread, smiled at my mom and talked with me3, while he was eating the bread. I couldn't remember4 I told him that night. But I did remember watching him put some better on the bread and eat up the bread as usual.
After dinner, I still5 if my dad really liked the burnt bread. So I asked him to6 and take a walk around our house and asked him about that. He took me in his7 and said, "Your mom worked very hard all day. She's really tired. And you see a bit of burnt food8 stops us from loving others!" What a great husband and father he is!9I was a little girl at that time, I still could feel his true care for Mom. I felt his arms were warmer.
Life is not perfect (完美的). Nobody is perfect, either. What we really need is the10 of each other – whether between the husband and the wife, the parent and the child or just between two friends. This is the key to a happy life.
