"Every day, we see the sunrise 16 times. Do you know why? Well, we circle the Earth every 90!"Do you still remember these words? It was June 20th, 2013. Chinese astronaut Wang Yapinga science lesson in space. Millions of students and teachers across China listened to it. Were you one of them? On the afternoon of December 9th, 2021, Ms. Wang gave her "Lesson Two"!
This time, Wang and her team will stay in space for 183 days. She has become the first womancompleted the spacewalk. We also heard the first Chinese New Year's greetings coming from space. But perhaps the mostpart for us is Ms. Wang's "Lesson Two".
Wang's space dream began when Yang Liwei became China'sman in space in 2003.
"When will our country have a spacewoman?" she thought to. Wang was a fighter pilot. Because of her excellent performance, in 2010, she was chosen toas an astronaut by the government. After lots of hard training, the womanrealized her space dream in 2013.
Like many young Chinese people, Wang likes photography, musicbasketball. She said, "We are all students in facing the universe. We are looking forward toour young friends to learn and explore (探索) the beautiful universe."
