One cold winter night, two friends are sitting beside a fire. One of the men is called Mr Slow. He does everything slowly. The other man is Mr Quick. He always does everything quickly and of course he gets angry quickly too.
Mr Slow is in no hurry(急忙) to tell Mr Quick when he sees Mr Quick's coat is on fire. "I see something. If I tell you about it now, you must get angry. But if I don't tell you now, you must lose(失去) something. Shall I tell you or not?" Mr Slow says slowly. "Well? What is it? asks Mr Quick impatiently (不耐烦地). "Your coat is burning." Mr Slow says. Mr Quick jumps up and says angrily, "You silly man! Why don't you tell me before?" "Well, people say you are impatient and get angry easily. Now I know it's true (真实的). "Mr Slow says.
