Zhou Lei is a Chinese boy. He is twelve years old. He lives in Henan . He studies (学习）in Zhengzhou No. 1 High School. He is in Class three, Grade Seven. He likes English very much, but he has a problem—his English is poor(差的). He wants to studyitwell. So he wants to find some English -speaking pen pals. 

Now he has a letter from Tom, his pen pal in Canada. The letter is in English. Tom is fourteen and he is a student, too. He and Zhou Lei are in the same grade. He speaks English very well. In the letter, Tom says he wants to visit China and study some Chinese. Zhou Lei is very happy to get (收到) this letter. He thinks they can help each other with their problems.
