My weekend was OK, but a little boring. On Saturday morning, I didn't do anything. On Saturday afternoon, I washed the car! Yes! The first time in a year.

Sunday was a nice day. I went for a walk with my friends in the morning. Eric and I stayed at home in the afternoon. We played chess and watched a movie. We thought the movie was terrible. In the evening, I met my brother in town for dinner.

I had a lovely weekend. On Saturday morning, my daughter, Lily, and I went shopping, and we bought lots of things for our trip next Wednesday. On Saturday afternoon, I cleaned the house. My son, Jim, played soccer with his friends. 

On Sunday, we went to my sister Jane's for her birthday party and saw her new house. I really liked it. It was big and beautiful! When we got home, we watched a movie together (一起). The children loved it very much.
