You probably will have to face peer(同伴) pressure. It's such a common part of life, so you must have a plan to say no.
Be polite and calm. Let your peer know that your mind is made up and no one can easily change it. You should believe that you are strong enough to make your own decision.
Explain why you won't do what the person says. You might point out that the behavior(行为) is against a rule or a law. You might say that you have promised your parents or teachers not to do things like that.
Make sure your face shows you are serious. Do not smile and try to look at the listener when you're speaking. This will send the message that you mean what you say.
If your peer keeps putting pressure on you and you really don't know what to do, it is OK to just go away. Do not feel sorry about it.
When you meet a person who continues to make you change your idea or behavior, you can also try to turn to a trusted adult for help. The adult may have some good suggestions for other ways to work out the problem.
A. Just walk away.
B. Ask adults for help.
C. Believe in yourself.
D. Say "No" out loudly.
E. Give reasons for saying no.
F. Keep serious when speaking.
