As we celebrate the Year of the Rabbit, it is worth noting that the rabbit has been a cultural image(印象). We can see it all over the world through different art forms by artists.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, US, for example(神话里的)meaning behind rabbits in China. So that the visitors of the show will know more about the rabbit culture. Just as the museum's official website describes, "The rabbit is a popular figure in Chinese literature and folk stories. It is believed to live on the moon and help the goddess Chang 'e to prepare her elixir of immortality(长生不老药)
Some other creative artists have used their artworks to give rabbits different symbolic meanings. At the comer of a building in Vila Nova de Gaia sis Half Rabbit, a huge rabbit sculpture. This eye— catching rabbit can be seen as you get closer from street level. It follows a half— and —half design. One side appears to be brown and fumy(毛茸茸的), while the other half looks shining with rainbow colors. The rabbit was created by Portugal street artist Bordalo Ⅱand Mistaker Maker
