M:Thanks. It's my great honor to perform in this science fiction film Everything Everywhere All at Once.
A:The film swept the Oscars with a total of seven awards. And a lot of Asian people, especially women getfrom you.
M:I'm so glad that I can give others who look like me some ideas to face the world. And I want to say to ladies, don't lettell you that you're past your prime(巅峰)!Never stop!
A:Well, your successfrom your acting skills, resolute(不动摇的) personality, acting in James Bond film. How were your early days in Hollywood?
M:I remember I was excited when I first came to Hollywood. It seemed a dream would come trueI was refused for several times. At that time, for racism(种族歧视), many Asian actors worked very hard but were offeredchances.
A:Well, that means winning that Oscar reallya lot, right?
M:Yes. I do have a hard timethe difficulties and that Oscar is not only important to me.
A:That's for sure. It's shining the light on a part of the world, of people that look like you who's never been included. One last question, how can you be the first?
M:I know of so many amazing actors where we've stood on their. And now so many beside me and more ahead of me. I'm(10)to them all.
A:Would you like to say something more about the future?
M:Well, I would love to see more faces like ours up there being given more chances to play more roles
