On the Mid-Autumn Festival, mooncakes are popular in China. They carry people's (wish) to the families they love and miss. There are many (tradition) folk stories about this festival, of which the story of Chang'e is the most touching. After Hou Yi (shoot) down the nine suns, a goddess gave him magic medicine to thank him. Whoever drank this could live forever, and Hou Yi planned to drink it with ( he )wife-Chang'e. , a bad man tried to steal the medicine. Chang'e refused (give) it to him and took it all. She began to fly up to the moon. Hou Yi was sad that he called out her name to the moon every night. One night, when he saw his wife there, he(quick) laid out her favorite fruits and desserts in the garden. After this, people started the tradition of (admire) the moon and sharing mooncakes their families.
