Wednesday, June 29th    

It was a special day today. Because it was our last school day. 

In the morning, our teacher took us to the Donghu Lake. We went there on foot. We sang many happy songs on the way to the lake. We rowed boats and had a picnic on the grass. I took a lot of nice pictures. It was great. 

We came back in the afternoon. Then we had a farewell party （欢送会） in the classroom. There were colourful balloons and flowers in it. On the desks, there were apples, watermelons, cakes and juice. We could see our names on the cake. 

Zhang Peng is my good friend. At the party, I had a gift for him. It was a book. Go It's about animals. He gave me a teacup dog （茶杯犬）. It's very, tiny. It has a small head and a small body. It's smaller than a cup. I like it very much. We talked a lot. We ate a lot. 

We played games and sang songs. It was a great day. It's hard to say goodbye. But we were not sad because we'll be friends forever.
