It was 7:25 a.m. on 15th April, 2021. Mr. Brown was waiting for the train to the park. His sons, one aged five and the other aged eight, were with him at that time.
Suddenly, Mr. Wilson who was very weak fell down on the ground. He got up, but then fell again. This time, onto the track (轨道) between the two rails. A train was coming into the station. It was a scary moment.
But Mr. Brown wasn't scared. He looked at the man and the space that the man was in. It was about half a meter deep. Mr. Brown thought to himself, "The train is going to move over the man. If he tries to get up, the train will kill him. However, the young man will be OK, if he lies on the ground and doesn't move." Mr. Brown jumped onto the track. He lay on top of Mr. Wilson, and kept him down on the ground. The train driver saw both of them. He was afraid, but there was no way for him to stop in time.
The people on the platform (站台) were astonished to see what had happened. When Mr. Brown heard them shouting, he shouted, "We're fine, but tell my sons I'm OK." People were amazed at Mr. Brown's courage and bravery. An ambulance (救护车) arrived and took Mr. Wilson to the nearest hospital. Luckily, there was nothing serious with him.
In a radio interview, Mr. Brown said, "The only thing that happened to me was my coat got dirty." He added, "I just saw someone who needed help at that time. I did what I thought was right."
