My father had been in hospital for days.When we got to the hospital, he still  (cough)a lot. But his smile (微笑)was as sure as ever. I stayed with him for the weekend,  I had to go back to my job on Monday. My cousins would look after him. I wanted to let him know that I  (real) cared about him.

Then I remembered a family tradition. Before leaving their(grandparent)home after a visit, each child would write a love note to their grandparents. For days, their grandparents would smile when they read these notes. I made a  (decide)to write some notes.

After I made the bed for my father, I wrote some notes. Some were this,"Dad,I put the knife and apples on the table." Some showed my love, "Dad,I hope you  (rest)well in your new bed."I put most notes downstairs where he would stay for weeks when he was sick.But I put one note upstairs under (he) pillow(枕头),"Dad, if you have found this note, you must be feeling much (well).I am so glad!"

These notes helped improve his health. Weeks later,I asked dad what he was doing on  phone. He said,"Pretty good.I just found your note under my pillow upstairs!"
