Knotting (结绳) Class

Knotting is a traditional craft that is about tying things together to create different shapes and designs. In this class, you will learn the basics of knotting, including different types of knots and how to create beautiful pieces of art. With all the tools and materials provided, you can create your own knotting projects, such as rings and necklaces, and they all belong to you.

Hand-made leather (皮质的) bag

Leather bags are fashionable and they can last a lifetime. However, you don't need a top brand to show your taste. Learn to design and make your own leather bag in this class. You will make a 45cm×30cm leather bag. It can be left with you and it's perfect for carrying several books. Some bag-making experience is helpful but not necessary. All the tools and materials will be provided.

Soap-making (肥皂制造) in a traditional way

August 4-August 6, 2023

Teacher: Jeanne Wright     Cost: $170

Soap —so simple yet so misunderstood. Have you ever thought about the materials needed in a soap? In this class, you will learn how to make gentle and natural soap. No experience is needed. You will leave with the soaps you made. Your teacher will provide all the tools and materials.
