Sally is a sixth grade student at the MCEDO Beijing School in the capital of Kenya. She (live) in a neighborhood (社区) with over 500, 000 poor people. There are only two (school) in it. Most parents in the neighborhood can't send their children to school they don't have enough money. Thanks to schools such as the MCEDO Beijing School, they teach the poor children for free.
Brenda, Sally's sister, says kids in the neighborhood can't get education (easy). Most parents can't give (them) children enough food, so they usually don't pay attention to (重视) their children's study.
"After my sister went to MCEDO, my family did not worry about (pay) for school. Thanks to MCEDO Beijing School, my sister can get into the classroom and she is good maths now." Brenda said. "At MCEDO Beijing School, students can get (health) meals and free lessons. It helps poor students with their life and study."
"Sometimes, we do not have enough food, we are sure that my sister has something to eat at school and will not go hungry," Brenda said. "We also believe that after my sister finishes school, she will use her knowledge (知识) (help) the family."
